The self-hypnosis app was open, a soothing voice already beginning to play through the speaker. He’d been thinking about it for days, hesitating, wondering if it would actually work. "Your beauty is undeniable, it shines in everything you do. You've always been this way." The words echoed in his mind, and as the minutes passed, something began to shift inside him. In the haze of the hypnotic state, he started to believe it, truly believe it. In his mind's eye, he was no longer the man who worried that he wasn't tough enough or felt out of place. Instead, he er she saw herself walking through life with grace, beauty, and the quiet certainty that she had always been this way—always pretty, always graceful, sweet and empathetic.
